Tokyo Boeki has a long and successful history in the resources sector.  Notable achievements include the development of Quintette Coal in Canada, the first shipments of Australian Iron Ore to Japan, and the development of Australian Thermal Coal sales to major Japanese power utilities.

Tokyo Boeki continues to import into Japan the following materials - Coal (thermal & coking), Iron ore, Manganese ore, Chrome ore, Ferro-alloys and Refractories.  In addition to the Japanese market, another important market for resources is China where Tokyo Boeki is active on both the supply and purchase sides.
